It started in Costa De Sol. Zack was there, months and months and unable to see his Girlfriend and Cissnei was with him the entire time. Though the grief of the loss of his mentor to Zack's restlessness, the thoughts that ShinRa had forgotten about him.

The arguing that no, he can't come back, he had his orders and they had to be followed.

Frustration was not a new concept to Cissnei, and for anyone else she might have just listened to their venting even if she could not give advice. Instead she had seen a chance that the Turk knows she should not have taken advantage of; But she had and rationalizes it with that Zack had gone along with it. Nobody needed to know about it anyway, if it was going to be a one time thing.

Or two times. Or three.

That's when Tseng starts to show up randomly on them, and Cissnei is well aware of what that means, that the man was just looking for an excuse. She cuts it off as quickly as it had started with a quick explanation, and when they do go back to Midgar everything seems to go back to the usual.

Time passes- Cissnei keeps things carefully polite though teasing in the hallways. Then the same night patrol they end up in the same sector to look over, and it happens just as fast as before.

Which puts them here now, Cissnei's cheek against Zack's chest when she wakes up, his arm around her and the man oh-so warm. She does not move but calculates how to go, to slip away without the man or anybody else noticing to report back before it gets too late in the day.

Cissnei has never gotten this far in over her head before, and she is starting to realize why as well.
