Loki had brought Steve here to have his revenge. It had been his plan to bring each of the Avengers to Asgard, one by one, break them and destroy them at his leisure. For now, his project was Steve.

But to be honest, he was beginning to feel some affection for the super soldier, especially now that he wasn't fighting back so hard. He obviously needed to remain wary - Steve wasn't resigned to his fate, just yet. But it was nice having someone to spend time with as himself. At least, insomuch as Loki is ever himself.

He smiled, watching Steve stretching, without making any effort to hide his appreciation. He'd need to figure out a way to exercise his pet regularly, soon - otherwise he might start to grow soft, and that was not something Loki wanted.

"Obviously not," he said with a thin-lipped smile and glittering eyes. "I'm going to have a bath. Come." He turned and headed for the adjoining bathing chamber.
